I have got a feeling this optical illusion might just blow your mind. We have put three clusters of circling balls above, but can you tell me how many of the three are going in the same direction? If you stare at the center yellow spot of the top left cluster they all seem to be going the same way, but not if you look at the other yellow spots. Let me know what you think in the comments.

Great table mat optical illusion makes it seem that the pattern has sunk under the weight of the tableware.
Image source: apworks Well actually a dark Zebra. Just stare at the center spot until the countdown finishes and then when the black shroud is lifted from the the left hand side of the picture the right hand side seems to get darker.

These two cars look completely different sizes because your eyes see the 3D perspective you would normally associate with a 2D photograph. But the actual 2D size here is exactly the same. Original image source unknown.

As an update to our grid illusion we have designed the same grid with dots. The only difference between the checker boards are the dots, the red and black squares are always the same.
