Instructions: Close one eye and focus the other on the appropriate letter (R for right or L for left). Place your eye a distance from the screen approximately equal to 3× the distance between the R and the L. Move your eye towards or away from the screen until you see the other letter disappear. For example, close your right eye, look at the "L" with your left eye, and the "R" will disappear.
Here is a great illusions. We call it rotating balls, but the big question is, which way are they rotating. If you stare at the O on the left it appears that the balls on the right start rotating in the opposite direction. Then stare at the S on the right and the balls on the left do the same. How peculiar!
Three weird aliens here. But one of them is not as strange as the other two. Can you spot which one?

Derelict properties in Northern Ireland have been made to look like old-fashioned stores. What's the idea with fake shops?
One shop in Belcoo, outside Enniskillen, Northern Ireland, looks like the perfect butcher's. You can almost smell the meat in the window - rashers of succulent bacon, plump bangers, juicy steaks, hams fit for a Tudor banquet.
But clues tell you it's not quite as it should be. There's no name on the frontage. The door of the shop appears ajar but there's no glimpse of a tail-wagging terrier, head cocked for a stray piece of luncheon meat.
The shop has become something of a cause celebre. For it turns out, it's not real. It's a fake shop. Moreover there are other fake shops in the area, such as a "thriving office supply shop".
This fantastic Symmetrical Alphabet by Scott Kim is not only a beautiful reversible alphabet but a great color illusion too. The letters at the bottom are actually the same color as the ones at the top.
So where have all those little grey dots between the squares come from? I never included them in my design! Click on grid for larger view.
Take a look at this spinning pattern and the internal optical spy wording. The words are just going around and around but somehow they seem to stop.
